Hi, I’m Orfelinda Ramirez
of Mission, Texas, started teaching in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in
Education. I furthered my education and became a Gifted and Talented Specialist and Consultant in 1997,
Intel Master Teacher in 2001, author “A Home for Georgia”, 2011, as well as
being a wife to a wonderful husband, mother of two incredible siblings and a
mastermind son- in- law, with three amazing grand kids. I retired after
teaching in the gifted program for 34 years. My kids live in Dallas, Texas
therefore; traveling is a must, in order to see family. I dedicate my time to
my business, ORAM Consulting Services started in 2006 and I also
enjoy volunteering during my spare time.
Through the years of my
teaching career, challenging the needs of gifted students in the classroom has
been very effective by using higher order thinking skills and technology
integration. My partner and I write curriculum, research monthly, attend trainings
either on-line, or TAGT Conferences/ISTE Conferences to be able to bring the
latest to teachers as well as gifted students.
