Gifted and Talented Virtual Training 2020

Due to these unprecedented times, we will be opting to virtual training for Sessions 1 and 2 for teachers that will be going through the 30 hours Gifted and Talented training Fall' 2020. As Covid-19 continues to affect our country, state and valley resulting in many of us having to change our ways of teaching and educating our students.  Teachers will proceed educating our students  through– online in-person virtual learning, return to school in-person with teacher/classroom and some even opting to Learning Pods-home schooling. Similarly, colleges and universities are altering early plans and opting for online fall semester.  We are not alone, many school districts are experiencing the same situation, but we will try our best to educate our participants and continue to provide online virtual training for Gifted and Talented teachers.  Our participants will be using Google Meet and Google Classroom experiencing virtual interactions, group chats and interactive activities.

                                                        Halloween Quiver
Both Gifted & Talented students and Day 4 participants created spooky 3D Augmented Reality Jack-o-lanterns for Halloween.  This template required everyone to create a black and white drawing, and then bing-- scan it with the Quiver App and their drawing came to life! A great way to instill writing by having students write a spooky story about their Jack-o-Lantern.

Happy Halloween everyone!
